The first thing you need to do is join your local motor club, if you live in north east London as I do, you will find that only 45 mins up the M11 is Chelmsford motor club (my  Club).

Go along to a club night and ask loads of questions and you will find that everyone is willing to give you good advice and point you in the right direction

I started my motor sport career in my standard road car a 15 year old BMW 3 series worth  £400.

I meet up with (Shane) another new member and we formed a partnership with me driving and Shane navigating. We entered a 12 car navigational rally and got complete lost in about 10 minutes but were completely hooked.

With some practice and better car set-up we went on to win the clubs 12 car series.

The next step was full night navigational rally's which consisted of up to 50 cars covering 200 miles starting at 11PM and finishing at 5 AM.

So now we have arrived where we are today, preparing for our 2nd full season stage rallying in a fully prepared Peugeot 205 stage rally car

So if you like what you have just read and want to give it a go,  get of your back side stop surfing the net and join your local motor club, you will love it !!
